Welcome to Green Bean Studios®! Founded on 20+ years of child development experience, we’re passionate about seeing children play, learn and go on fun outdoor adventures.
We aim to reach every child to help them develop key skills, prepare them for formal education, and enable them to thrive, one child at a time. Our three core pillars are Community, Earth, and Kids. We welcome new ambassadors and partnerships to help us support more children and families globally. If you would like to become an ambassador or partner or book a private event with us please contact [email protected]
Through our ongoing partnerships and ambassadors' engagement with local communities, libraries, schools, and councils across Manchester and the UK, we continue to enable children to develop and reach their full potential.
With author events and brand engagements, we are building communities of parents, educators, ambassadors and investors who share our passion for outdoor adventures, learning through play and reading for pleasure.
Here are some of our ambassadors and partners locally, regionally, and nationally:

ECO Warrior
Children learn best through play. That’s why it’s at the core of what we do – our ECO toys help stimulate children’s imagination and encourage open-ended, non-gendered play away from screens. Our toys help children to develop their own creativity and are designed to be played with alongside reading our books to enhance learning and develop a love of reading.
At Green Bean Studios we believe play shouldn’t cost the planet, or break the bank, which is why we’ve invested time and innovated in ways using natural resources to develop kids' toys that are free from fast plastics and support a sustainable circular economy.
We partnered with Lancaster University’s Eco Innovation Centre to research and develop a new ECO book and toy using sustainable and biodegradable materials.
We recently started our journey towards becoming a B Corp certified business to continue our commitment to sustainability. If you’re an ECO Warrior and share our passion for greener living, we’d love to have you on board as an ambassador – be a part of our test groups, meet other ECO warriors, and share your views as we go Green with Green Bean!
Bookworm
Research shows that the number of children reading for pleasure is steadily declining. We are committed to getting children to love reading from an early age. All elements of our business support this by making reading fun and engaging for children whilst encouraging parents and caregivers to spend more time reading with their children.
Following the pandemic, reports showed an increase in the number of children struggling with speech and language delays. We successfully helped a boy aged 2.5 years old to overcome a diagnosed speech delay , going on a reading journey with our books called the Green Bean Collection which completely transformed his communication skills. Outdoor explorer
With a rise in childhood obesity and the number of children reporting mental health issues , we have a strong focus on enabling children to have fun outdoor adventures and reduce the amount of screen time they have by getting them excited and curious about exploring the world around them.
Our books, toys, and entertainment productions encourage children and families to spend more time being active outdoors, using the natural environment as a playground for learning and enjoying precious moments together. Join us at our next play days, meet other outdoor explorers, and share your views – kids welcome of course!
The lovable characters in our stories and animated productions help to promote living in harmony alongside nature, using natural resources responsibly in building and playing, and living greener healthier lifestyles – from the food that we eat, to the products we buy, to how families enjoy free time together, we aim to inspire every family to love outdoor adventures and live a healthy, active lifestyle.
Educator
The Green Bean Collection supports children with SEN by providing a multi-sensory approach to learning – our toys are designed to work alongside our books to give children with additional needs more ways to learn and engage with reading.
Our books, toys, games, TV, music and live events/attractions have all been developed in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage Statutory Framework to support children’s early learning. From our board books for babies, to our early reader paperbacks for key stage 1 children, we have a solid brand foundation for supporting children with literacy, numeracy, and interpersonal skills.
We partner with several Early Years Educators who are ambassadors for Green Bean Studios, supporting our mission to give children the best start in life.
