Welcome to Green Bean Studios®, home of inspiring children’s entertainment that creates precious moments through fun adventures!
Our IP children’s entertainment brand empowers children and families across the globe to discover, nurture, and enjoy the world around them through retail, music, TV, film and immersive events/attractions.
Our business supports the UK economy and export market. The creative sector contributes £111.7bn GVA to the UK economy, superseding the automotive, aerospace, life sciences and oil and gas industries combined. UK Creative Industries total £35.6bn in exports annually, with 15.6% of creative enterprises exporting internationally. These industries are growing at 3 times the national average, employing over 2million UK-wide.
At the heart of Green Bean Studios are three core pillars: Community, Earth, and Kids. We’re passionate about building communities of people who share our dedication to supporting children’s education and wellbeing, whilst promoting sustainability and nurturing the world around us.
Retail
Founded on 20+ years of child development, we have created a range of ECO toys, books, and games to support children to play, learn and discover. Our products have been developed in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage Statutory Framework to give children the best start in life. As well as having a huge and loyal fanbase in the UK, our retail lines are breaking into global markets with sales across USA, Canada, and Europe. For enquiries about IP licence, or wholesale ordering contact [email protected]
Books, cartoons and films encourage children to role-play, which is an extension of learning. The educational toy market has a $92Bn value projected for 2026. This is based on parents’ desires for their children to have educational toys/TV shows enabling them to learn whilst playing. Children engage with characters from books/toys/TV that they can relate to; our stories include characters with diverse personalities and abilities
Collectibles had an estimated market value of $402 billion in 2021 and is expected to cross $1 trillion by 2032. The market is dominated by the commercial turnaround of fast plastic and that is where put some Green Bean's in the gap.
We have huge scope for generating sustainable economic growth across multiple job sectors which we will scale post further investment to generate employment, plus research and development opportunities for universities, which will benefit families. We have a forecasted and robust strategy to scale our business with inclusive innovations through multi-revenue streams including franchising, licensing merchandise and further ECO products.

Team:
We’re a diverse and multi-talented team which has grown from a team of 2 in 2020, to 22 in 2022, to 26 team members in 2023. Employment status is full-time and part-time, and for our freelancers we offer onsite and hybrid working roles locally and UK-wide.
Partners:
Our partnerships with key organisations and individuals continue to grow, helping us to develop our brand. During our pre-seed funding round we partnered with The National Literacy Trust, Creative UK, Innovate UK, Waterstones, Action for Children, and local councils across Greater Manchester to name a few. We are always looking for new partnerships to further our mission and help us scale the business.
Funding:
We face the challenge that the business is founded by a Black female. Female entrepreneurs received only 1% of venture capital investment in 2021. At the end of April 2022, reports showed only 0.02% of UK VC funding went to Black female founders in a decade. Reports for 2024 was a drop of 2 percent less investment deals were completed with women in business.
During this decade, only 10 Black female founders received VC funding. Despite these odds, Black women are driving forward some of the UK's most exciting and profitable new businesses. Accessing grants has been vital to support business growth.
From 2020 to 2024 we have raised £250,000, including £50,000 in funding from Innovate UK’s Inclusive Innovation Award and £30,000 from ‘DCMS Create Growth Fund: Competition 1’ from Innovate UK.
